Postponed: 17th Annual Life Course & Aging Symposium

This event has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later time.

1) understanding healthy development and aging across the lifespan; 2) improve and maintain quality of life; and 3) engage with students mentored by LCAC faculty by discussing research posters that address issues facing Louisiana and beyond. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Robert Newton, Jr., is an Associate Professor and Director of the Physical Activity and Ethnic Minority Health Laboratory at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. His keynote address is titled “Community-Based Interventions to Improve Health in African Americans.”
