2021 Dellinger Symposium

The Dellinger Symposium is held in honor of Dr. Barry H. Dellinger, founding director of the LSU Superfund Research Center. Each year an investigator in environmental health sciences is nominated by trainees to receive the Barry Dellinger Award for outstanding advancements in understanding combustion processes, formation of combustion by-products, and/or mechanisms of their health effects. This year, Dr. Irfan Rahman was selected to receive the award. The symposium is organized by the Center’s Trainee Leadership Advisory Board, the Research Experience and Training Coordination Core, the Administrative Core, and the Community Engagement Core. Support for this event is provided by a grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institutes of Health.
