Welcome to the greatest science talks in Baton Rouge!

This month, features LSU Graduate Student Ashley Elliott, Physics & Astronomy, talking about '"Stargazers and Trailblazers: The Women of Astronomy," presenting the history of astronomy, highlighting the important contributions of the women behind the scenes.

Asst. Prof. Matthew Locke, Geology & Geophysics, will unveil “The Moon in a Pebble: Challenges in reading the history of the moon from only a small number of samples,” and delve into the challenges of reading the history of a celestial body from such a small number of samples and discover the role that meteorites have played in our understanding of the moon’s history.
