LSU Libraries will host a viewing of the famed double elephant folio edition of John James Audubon’s Birds of America (London, 1827-1838) on Saturday, April 29, 2023. This annual event will be held in the McIlhenny Room of Hill Memorial Library on the LSU campus.

The event is free, but a timed reservation is required to view the folios. 

In addition to the viewings, there will be an exhibition of the E.A. McIlhenny Natural History Collection on display, a coloring table, and information tables from local wildlife organizations. 

Audubon Day is free and open to the public, but registration is required due to the event’s popularity. Register at lib.lsu.edu/special/audubon.
