About this Event
Free EventJoin us on Sunday, April 7th from 9am – 12pm as we work with the Bayou Manchac Group to remove debris and trash that has washed into a section of the bayou. The Bayou Manchac Group is a citizens' organization working to maintain and enhance the ecological integrity of Bayou Manchac and its tributaries by seeking methods to balance development and conservation. The group is dedicated to the history, restoration and promoting the awareness of problems facing Bayou Manchac and other water bodies within the Bayou Manchac drainage basin.
Note: We will meet before heading to the site at 8:00am in the Parker Coliseum/ Ag Lot and leave promptly for the site at 8:30am.We will carpool to the site. Lunch will not be provided
