Ready to paddle? After this clinic you’ll know more about canoeing than you did before! Our canoeing clinic will cover: parts of the boat, equipment overview, paddle stokes and more. We’ll then take a relaxing paddle around University Lake to put our newly learned skills into practice. For this clinic, we meet at Baton Rouge Beach (aka Milford-Wampold Memorial Park). Just look for the friendly Adventure Education staff and boats near the water. All paddling equipment is provided. We recommend you bring a water bottle and some clothes you don’t mind getting wet – we can’t promise you won’t tip your boat! Please contact us if you have any questions.
