Guest Artist Patrick Chin Ting Chan and LSU EMDM (Experimental Music & Digital Media) students will be performing his improvisational work 'Water Dust' for indeterminate performers and video. Water Dust is a piece that explores the symbolic and aesthetic aspects of water and dust. It was inspired by the contrast and connection between these two elements, which can represent purity and impurity, change and stagnation, emotion and reason, and many other dualities. It challenges the boundaries between art and science, nature and culture, order and chaos, and invites the audience to immerse themselves in a fluid and organic world of sound and vision.
