Constantinides New Music Ensemble - Virtual Spring Concert

***Due to a change of venue, this performance has been adjusted to a non-live broadcast on April 18 at 3:00 p.m.***

The Constantinides New Music Ensemble presents a virtual program of new works by both student and faculty composers in the LSU School of Music, including Stephen David Beck, Jeremi Edwards, Dan Schultz, Aaron Gonzalez, Hannah Rice, and Mara Gibson.

Started in 2017, the Constantinides New Music Ensemble at the LSU School of Music seeks to meet the demands of the 21st century artist by engaging in new projects that adapt to multiple musical styles and find new ways to connect in the community through non-traditional venue. The group consists of highly skilled and flexible musicians who work regularly with faculty and guest artists, including applied and academic faculty, composers, and conductors. The New Music Ensemble explores multiple projects that include readings of student and faculty compositions, community engagement, multidisciplinary works (theatre, dance, visual arts), guest artist residencies, and other related ventures.

This performance will be broadcast for free on the LSU School of Music and Constantinides New Music Ensemble Facebook pages.
