NIH has issued the Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy to promote the sharing of scientific data. Sharing scientific data accelerates biomedical research discovery, in part, by enabling validation of research results, providing accessibility to high-value datasets, and promoting data reuse for future research studies. In this workshop, presented by Mike Holt, head of research and instructional services at LSU Library, you will learn about DMS plans as well as the LSU resources for writing competitive plans. DMS plans will be required for NIH proposals due on or after January 25, 2023.
