Featuring: Darcy Tatsch

Citizen science is about creating research collaborations between scientists and volunteers. Citizen science allows people of all ages to participate in sound science, learn, and network with other like-minded individuals in their communities. We will discuss the many forms citizen science can take and how to get involved. Programs highlighted will include FrogWatch USA™, The Great Backyard Bird Count, and Monarch Watch. From birds, butterflies, and frogs there is a citizen science for you!

Darcy Tatsch is the Volunteer Coordinator at BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo and has a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Management.
