We are pleased to announce the Distinguished Research Master award ceremony, with honorees Dr. Robert Lipton, Nicholson Professor of Mathematics, and Dr. Pius Ngandu, Jacques Arnaud Professor of French Studies . The event will be held on Wednesday, April 7 at 6:00 PM on Zoom with presentations by each honoree followed by a moderated Q&A session about their research.

Since 1972, the Council on Research has presented the Distinguished Research Master award in recognition of outstanding career accomplishments in research and scholarship. This year’s awardees reflect the long tradition of research and scholarly excellence for which LSU is known.
