This event will serve as a fun and educational event shedding light on a Cajun Easter tradition called "paquing." This is when two people have one hard-boiled egg each and knock it against each other. Whoever's egg doesn't crack wins. This event will be like a tournament and whoever wins will get a small prize. In addition to this event, there will also be an egg toss competition where two people will toss a boiled egg to each other and see whoever throws it the farthest to his/her partner without it touching the ground. This winner will also receive a small prize. Each competition will have a small entry fee of $1 per egg. This fundraiser will help us because we are a new and small organization that currently has no fund. I have received a donation of eggs from the Louisiana Egg Commission. I received approval of my event from LSU Risk Management. I have also gotten the ok from Mr. Jacob Brumfield of LSU Campus Life to have this event.
