In Baton Rouge, LA, Tigers for Autism Awareness partners with Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge to serve children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities. Tigers for Autism Awareness, an LSU student organization, aims to provide opportunities for socialization, friendship, and fun to the whole crew! On one Friday evening per month, Tigers for Autism Awareness volunteers earn community service hours by attending events and spending quality social time with their peers who have special needs. These events are filled with activities including movies, Bingo, card games, crafts, and any other interests of their members and volunteers. We are always looking for college volunteers and responsible adult supervisors experienced with people who have developmental disabilities!
