History of the Fire Service (ZOOM)

LSU Fire and Emergency Training Institute will be offering the following class in a live three-hour online class that is open to all Louisiana firefighters.

Firefighters may attend individually or in groups following your agency’s policies.

Dial-In Information


If you are intending to watch by yourself or host a group, you will need to make a classroom reservation using the link below. If you will be watching with someone else, you will not need to complete this step. Only the person signing into the Zoom classroom will need a classroom reservation.


All student registration will take place once the class begins. You will need a UNIQUE email address to register. Under no circumstances may two students use the same email address. After registration you will receive an email confirmation to verify your registration is complete. Please save this email as verification of class attendance.

A free gmail, yahoo, outlook, or other free email service is acceptable. Your UNIQUE email address does not need to be an organizational email address. We do encourage students to use the same email for future classes as well.
