Described as a "sensitive, elegant soloist" with a "subtle refined style" by Gramaphone Magazine, Jared Houser maintains an international stature as a performing and teaching artist, serving on the faculty of the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University. For his performance at LSU, Houser joins LSU Boyd Professor Willis Delony for an evening of jazz selections, as well as solo oboe repertoire.
