Dr. Katey Jahnke presents her recital as a member of the LSU School of Music faculty with a program that celebrates the unique chamber music for horn and double reeds, with works that showcase the rich colors, character, and expressive possibilities of these distinctive instruments. This recital will feature works for horn, oboe, and piano.

Jahnke will perform alongside Dr. Jenna Sehmann (oboe) of Stephen F. Austin State University; Dr. Keegan Hockett (bassoon) of St. Ambrose University and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville; and LSU faculty member, pianist Jeong-Eun Lee. Jahnke, Sehmann, and Hockett are also members of the award-winning chamber ensemble The Wild Prairie Winds.
