 onal media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal\, The New York Times\, 
 USA Today\, and NPR\, and he is a frequent guest on live talk radio.\n\nAt
  LSU\, Dr. Upton has taught across the MBA program\, Economics\, and Envir
 onmental Sciences departments\, bridging technical rigor with policy relev
 ance. He currently serves as President-Elect of the United States Associat
 ion for Energy Economics (USAEE) and holds advisory roles with the Center 
 for Legislative Energy & Environmental Research (CLEER) and the National P
 etroleum Council (NPC).\n\nIn Louisiana\, Dr. Upton contributes to key sta
 te initiatives as a legislatively appointed member of both the Clean Hydro
 gen Task Force and the Task Force on Local Impacts of Carbon Capture and S
