About this Event
If you've ever wanted to play D&D but never found time to learn or were intimidated by the amount of content available, well wait no longer! LSU Libraries is bringing you a two-part series all about the basics. Join us on February 8th in room 241A, LSU Libraries from 4PM to 6PM for D&D 1001: Character Creation. We'll be going over the character sheet from ability scores to spell lists and everything in between. So, bring open minds and endless imagination and we'll get you started on the road to adventure.. . . . . . And if you liked the first class then you won't want to miss D&D 1002: Mechanics and Roleplay on February 15th, also in room 241A, LSU Libraries from 4PM to 6PM. Here we’ll be delving into the particulars of how gameplay works and what all those dice are for. We'll also be sharing stories about our own experiences playing different characters and answering any questions you may have. You'll learn about how you can approach your character's personality, background, and quirks. And explore different ways to roleplay your character(s) that are comfortable for you.
