The Clarence L. Barney Jr. African American Cultural Center (AACC) invite students, faculty, staff and the community to join us for a Juneteenth Celebration on Friday, June 16 from 12pm-2pm at the ACCC. This national commemorative event celebrates the freedom of enslaved Africans in the United States and emphasizes education and African American achievements. The celebration will include music, food, games, a historical reflection, and much more.

If faculty, staff, and students are interested in volunteering at the Juneteenth Celebration, please click Juneteenth Celebration Volunteer Sign-Up Form and specify which areas you would like to serve.

For more information, please visit the LSU Clarence L. Barney Jr. African American Cultural Center at 86 Veterans Drive (next to Barnes & Noble) or email aacc@lsu.edu
