LSU Classical Studies Kwirky Klassics film series presents The Mole People

Join us for a film screening of The Mole People described by film critic Leonard Maltin as "probably the worst of Universal-International's '50's sc-fi movies." Archaeologists stumble upon an underground city of albino Sumerians living as they did at the time of Noah's flood. The Sumerians depend on the labor of enslaved humanoid creatures, the Mole People. Soon the archeologists run afoul of a powerful high priest and must face the fatal fire of Ishtar. Starring John Agar (first husband of Shirley Temple), Hugh Beaumont (father in Leave it to Beaver), and Cynthia Patrick who later old real estate. Free pizza while it lasts!
