Every year, the LSU Corps of Cadets host a Military Ball for Army ROTC, Navy ROTC, and Air Force ROTC. This event is not mutually exclusive to students outside of ROTC, however, the Corps of Cadets is largely promised of members in ROTC. The Military Ball will include a program consisting of a keynote speaker, toast, Senior's farewell, and speeches by the Corps Commander and Study Body President. The Corps Commander wants each cadet and midshipman to have an enjoyable evening that fosters camaraderie across the corps and allows for a deeper appreciation of the service to the country that these future officers will be undertaking.
