The LSU Symphony Orchestra welcomes guest conductor Bruce Uchimura (Western Michigan University) to lead the orchestra in Brahms's Tragic Overture and George Walker's Lyric for Strings. Po-Yu Fang, first prize winner of the Dean's Concerto Competition, will perform Bottesini's virtuosic Bass Concerto No. 2.
