During Native American Heritage Month, the Office of Multicultural Affairs is honored to welcome Principal Chief Lora Ann Chaisson of the United Houma Nation of Louisiana to campus.
Chief Chaisson will present on the United Houma Nation's culture and history on Wednesday, November 9th at 4 PM in the LSU Student Union, International Room 303. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome.
The United Houma Nation is a state-recognized tribe of approximately 17,000 tribal members residing within a six-parish (county) service area encompassing 4,570 square miles. To find out more about United Houma Nation, please visit unitedhoumanation.org.
