The Quidditch Club at LSU is proud to announce and host the 5th Annual Mardi Gras Cup right here in Baton Rouge! This is a great opportunity to showcase what this new & improved sport is all about, for our LSU community. Teams from all over the Southwest (sometimes further) travel to the boot in lieu of some friendly and competitive Quidditch competition. The event will take place at the LSU UREC Field Complex and it's FREE!
Quidditch is a full contact sport, co-ed sport that is played all over the world as part of the International Quidditch Association. LSU Quidditch is one of the longest tenured teams in the IQA and competes in the Southwest region against teams such as University of Texas-Austin, Texas A&M, Texas State, Oklahoma State, and University of Arkansas. Any LSU student is welcome to join, just come to practice every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 5 pm at the UREC Field Complex (message us if you don't know where that is).
