Each year the pageant is hosted by Delta Zeta Sorority. Last year Delta Zeta raised $85,000 from their efforts with the Miss LSU-USA 2017 Pageant. Proceeds from the pageant are donated to our national and local philanthropies. Locally Delta Zeta supports The Emerge Center, St. Lillian Academy, Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area, and Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center, and on a national level Delta Zeta supports the Painted Turtle Camp and Starkey Hearing Foundation. By participating in the Miss LSU-USA pageant you are helping us to raise money for these wonderful recipients and many more. The Miss LSU-USA Pageant is designed to be a positive experience for all contestants. We desire to help contestants sharpen their skills in health and fitness, beauty and poise, and interview. Many contestants enjoy the process as much as the outcome, but it is what you make it.
