About this Event
View map Free EventJoin faculty members Willis Delony (piano), Espen Lilleslåtten (violin), and Dennis Parker (cello) as they unite for an evening of exquisite chamber music, showcasing two defining works of the twentieth century.
Their program opens with Maurice Ravel’s luminous Trio for Piano, Violin, and Cello—a tour de force of color, rhythm, and refined emotion from one of France’s greatest musical impressionists. In contrast, the trio will also present Roots II by American composer David Baker—a bold, genre-defying composition that stands as a cornerstone of classical and jazz fusion.
The performance will take place in the School of Music's Room 115 which will provide an intimate chamber environment to hear these wonderful pieces brought to life.
