ORED Spring 2020 Event

The Office of Research & Economic Development (ORED) is hosting a workshop on National Science Foundation's (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) featuring panelists comprising NSF CAREER awardees from multiple disciplines and ORED staff. Panelists will give presentations on program requirements and tips for successful proposals, with time allotted for questions and answers. The workshop is open to all interested NSF CAREER applicants. If you are planning to submit an NSF CAREER proposal, we encourage you to register and attend!

The CAREER Program is a Foundation-wide activity that offers NSF’s most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. This year’s deadline is July 27, 2020, and proposals will follow the updated NSF CAREER announcement (NSF 20-525) and Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 20-1). If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Research Advancement (ORA) at ora@lsu.edu .
