The program will be designed to promote interaction among residents and attendees through a DIY S'mores station at the front of the activity center with a board game table nearby, a Mario-Kart tournament inside the activity center with other games for the Wii, and an apartment-specific craft station. The apartment-specific craft station will feature a craft that highlights the difference between living in a residential hall and an apartment community. As residents build their craft, RAs at the station will discuss with them what living in an apartment is like, describing common roommate conflict reasons, reminding them of what not to forget when making the move from a residential hall to an apartment, how to handle not necessarily having a meal plan, and how to handle living with more roommates (or potentially by themselves).
