We’re excited to welcome Thibault BladekCultural Attaché from the Consulate General of France in New Orleans, for a special meet-and-greet on Wednesday, November 19, at 5:00 p.m. in the Honors College French House (Room 135).

Mr. Bladek will share exciting opportunities to experience French culture both abroad and in Louisiana, including two major programs that open doors for students interested in international exchange, language, and culture:

  • The Lafayette Fellowship, a prestigious graduate scholarship created by the French Embassy in the U.S. that supports one year of study at partner universities across France. The fellowship celebrates French-American friendship and invests in tomorrow’s global leaders. Learn more → lafayette.villa-albertine.org
  • The Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF), which allows recent graduates to live and work in France while teaching English in French schools—a perfect opportunity to gain international experience and strengthen language skills.

This event is open to all students interested in French language, culture, and global engagement. Light refreshments will be served.
