As defined by the NIH Office of Research Integrity, research misconduct is the fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results. This workshop will address LSU’s policy on research misconduct, provide mechanism to help researchers avoid research misconduct, review well-known cases, and discuss the societal impact on research when misconduct occurs.
