 ve with an aristocratic young woman. The young man makes a deal with the d
 evil so he can marry her\, but when she learns of the pact\, she sets out 
 to negotiate for her husband's soul. Inspired by both Javanese mythology a
 nd German expressionism\, this film promises to both mesmerize and haunt.
