#@lsuresearchThis free public humanities panel, supported by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, brings together Louisiana scholars and artists to explore the history, cultural context, and future of performance and production in our state.
Moderated by Dr. Rockford Sansom (LSU Theatre), the panel features:
• Dr. Shannon Walsh (LSU) – Theatre historian specializing in American theatre and regional performance traditions
• Dr. Vicki Mayer (Tulane University) – Film scholar and author of Almost Hollywood, Nearly New Orleans
• Shea Stephens (Baton Rouge Community College) – Film faculty member and Louisiana film artist
• Barrett Hileman – Theatre artist and LSU doctoral student focused on directing and community performance
