The Joan C. Miller Hall staff was encouraged to reflect on the behaviors residents, professional staff, fellow resident assistants, and desk assistants to recognize individuals who they felt fit the following categories. Although nominating the staff's own residents was recommended, they were welcomed to nominate residents that do not live on their floor. This program serves as way to recognize residents who have truly been engaged in the community throughout the year. This programs also serves to recognize residents, guests, professional staff members, and other staff members who have played an essential part in making this a successful academic year in Joan C. Miller Hall.
