About this Event
Explore a web of passions and jealousy with the combined Turner-Fischer Center for Opera and LSU Symphony Orchestra, in Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music.
Set in Sweden at the turn of the 20th century, A Little Night Music explores the tangled web of affairs centered around traveling actress Desirée Armfeldt, and the men who love her: a lawyer by the name of Fredrik Egerman and the Count Carl-Magnus Malcom. When the actress performs in Fredrik's town, the estranged lovers' passion rekindles. A Little Night Music is full of hilariously witty and heartbreakingly moving moments of adoration, regret and desire.
"A Little Night Music" is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International. All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. Book by Hugh Wheeler.
