Soprano Tony Arnold, on the Peabody and Tanglewood faculties, is the foremost American interpreter of contemporary vocal music of her generation. As a member of the International Contemporary Ensemble, Arnold has been a catalyst for groundbreaking artistic projects, among them, David Lang’s Whisper Opera. In a recital with pianist Sahun Sam Hong, she will perform a varied program featuring Wolf, Webern, and Lachenmann, along with the world premiere of Barlow Prize-commissioned cycle the color of where you can never go by LSU composer Christopher Trapani.
